Standing to the east of the city's Albert Dock is Mathew street, where you will find the world-famous Cavern Club, which is visited each year by many thousands of Beatles fans. Located to the north of this area are the Pier Head and also the Royal Liver building, a particularly prominent landmark in Liverpool.
